Overview

At Tecton Creations, we stand behind the quality of our products and manufacturing services. Because many of our items are made-to-order or custom manufactured, our return policy varies depending on the type of product purchased.

Please review the policy below before initiating a return.

1. Consumer Products (Standard Website Products)

This includes items such as:

• Tecton Nook™ Wall Mounts

• Surface Mounts

• Direct Mounts

• Brush Mounts

• Flex Mounts

• Other standard catalog products

Return Policy

We accept returns on unused, uninstalled products within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

• Item must be unused and uninstalled

• Item must be in the same condition that you received it

• Item must be returned in original packaging

• All hardware, components, and accessories must be included

• Proof of purchase or receipt is required

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.

2. Installed Products

Products that have been installed, mounted, drilled, or adhered to a surface are not eligible for return.

Because installation may permanently alter the product or surrounding surface, we cannot accept returns once installation has occurred.

Products returned showing signs of installation may be rejected or partially refunded.

3. Compatibility Responsibility

Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their devices and installation environment before purchasing.

Product dimensions and specifications are listed on each product page.

Returns will not be accepted for compatibility issues involving:

• phones or phone cases

• charging blocks or cables

• brushes or accessories

• third-party products

If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us before ordering.

4. Non-Returnable Situations

We cannot accept returns if:

• The product has been installed

• The product shows signs of wear, drilling, modification, or damage

• The return request is made after 30 days from delivery

• The item was purchased on sale

• The item is a gift card

Certain categories of products are also non-returnable, including:

• Custom or personalized items

• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

• Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)

• Personal care goods

5. Custom 3D Printed Parts & Manufacturing Services (B2B / Made-to-Order)

All custom-manufactured parts, prototypes, R&D prints, and production runs are non-returnable and non-refundable.

This includes:

• Custom CAD-based prints

• Parts produced from client-supplied files

• Prototype validation prints

• Production manufacturing runs

• Exotic material orders (including TEC-EX material setups)

Because these items are manufactured specifically to customer specifications, returns cannot be accepted once production has begun.

6. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If you receive:

• A damaged item

• A manufacturing defect

• An incorrect product

Contact us within 5 days of delivery at:

Please include:

• Order number

• Description of the issue

• Photos of the item and packaging

We will evaluate the issue and may offer:

• Replacement

• Repair

• Store credit

• Refund (at our discretion)

7. Shipping Damage

If your package arrives visibly damaged:

1. Take photos before opening the package

2. Contact us immediately

3. Retain all original packaging

Failure to document shipping damage may affect claim eligibility with the carrier.

8. Exchanges

The fastest way to receive a different product is to return the item first (if eligible). Once the return is approved, you may place a new order for the replacement item.

9. Return Inspection

All returned items are inspected upon arrival.

If a returned item shows signs of:

• installation

• use

• modification

• damage during return shipping

• missing components

the return may be partially refunded or rejected.

10. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved:

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable

• Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

11. Restocking Fee

Approved returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover inspection, processing, and repackaging costs.

Restocking fees are waived for defective or incorrect items.

12. European Union – 14 Day Cooling Off Period

If merchandise is shipped to the European Union, customers have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

Returned items must still meet the following conditions:

• unused and uninstalled

• returned in original packaging

• proof of purchase included

13. Order Cancellations

Standard catalog products may be canceled before shipment.

Custom manufacturing orders:

• cannot be canceled once printing or material preparation has started

• may incur setup or material costs if materials were purchased specifically for your project

14. Warranty Disclaimer

Our products are intended for proper installation and use as described.

Tecton Creations LLC is not responsible for:

• improper installation

• misuse or modification

• wall damage from improper anchoring

• damage caused by exceeding load capacity

• normal cosmetic wear

Installation and usage are the responsibility of the customer.

Final Notes

We are a small American manufacturing business and take pride in every part we produce. If something isn’t right, we will work with you to make it right within the guidelines above.

All products are designed and manufactured in the United States using additive manufacturing processes.
